Basic idea: Ancient System

Option 1- At the appraiser you would have the option to make your armor become "Ancient" (no class restrictions).
Option 2- As a skill for a dealer (still costs the same)
Option 3- As a quest (still costs the same, sort of like the cg quest)
Option 4- After 2-3 years armor would then become ancient (separate idea from the rest)

Q: "Why add this feature? All hawkers would then use champ armor"
A: That is why once it is turned to an ancient piece of armor the base stats on that piece of armor would become 10

Q: "Should their be restrictions on what type of armor you can use"
A: It would have to be either NPC armor (yellow armor) or Event (so you cant get such things as ancient chiv armor)
or
A: It would have to be either NPC armor 0-100 restriction (yellow armor) or Event

Q: "Wouldn't this lower the prices of already Ancient Items in game?"
A: No. There will be a base amount that you would have to pay eg- from 200m level 10 gear and increases per level to 2b for level 200 gear (along the lines of that, was only a guesstimate)

Q: "Does this some how help the game in a way?"
A: Yes it can, it acts as a zulie drain for the people that don't want to spend all day trying to find a lower price, to the huge 2b for the level 200 piece of armor which would also make it rare.

Only downside that i see with this idea so far is that the ancient items in game would lose the rarity of the item being "non obtainable" and considered old

Yes, No? explain why so i can expand on the idea, literally thought of it 15 minutes ago Ancient System - Proposals & Suggestions (3)

Not sure if it still exists in game or not, but I remember there was an "Old" White Night Gun at one point...

As for the overall thought of this... I am of 2 minds... on one hand, I think it would be a good idea just because it would allow people to use them as costumes like any other "Ancient" Item but on the other hand, isn't it nice to actually own a piece of Rose History that not many people can say they have???

Just going with the thought of this, I htink rather than call it an "ancient" type item would be degrading to the items already regaurded as "Ancient"... I think I would rather see the name change to "Costume"... so it would be:

"Legendary Coat of Witch Costume"
or even go as far as:
"Faux Legendary Coat of Witch"

This would make a seperation from "real" ancient items and the newly created faux/fake ancients...

I would be against naming it ancient. That would make the "true" ancient gears worthless. I have kept a few ancient gears and wings just because of the name. Just like the legend gear that has dex stat. I kept those.

Its a neat idea, just needs a diff naming convention.

As a collector, there is so few things to collect in rose already... lets not take away 1 of the 2 sets of actual rare types of items...

From my quote, wouldn't make anything worthless but would only effect the way you view the gears, but changing the name would be for the better... Any thoughts? o:

There not that valuable i have a storage full... They are also cheap atm and alot of them are in circulation, would at least wait 5 years before calling it a collectors item
