In your opinion what would be the best use of MoT in bio5? I've tried a JDR+CRS build, but it's quite limited in the fact that I can't deal with casters effectively (barring using CI+gtb/crit melee+gtb). Even dealing with the high agi mobs is quite inefficient.

One thing I haven't tried is just going pure crit melee GX (mainly because I'm running a high mettle bio5 headgear).

Any thoughts on a really effective way to farm bio5 w/ MoT without running into too many inconsistencies?

Even different class suggestions is on the table.I thought about EB RG with a sharp hunting spear + MoT, but Chakri told me it would be inferior to using a hammer, bsg+meg.

    Thanks.

the mage in bio5 is more challengingas compared to others for GX
usually, i avoid them. most of the time i get killed by them before ikilling it. About 3~4CRS?. (imrunning using +11bio5 and +11jdr)

as for high flee such as Cecil & Maestro, sufficient crit allows you to kill them pretty easily.
although Cecil& it's critical wound may start draining your slims pot.

In Thor majority of the bio5 farmers are physical doram and those with GTB nails the mages in bio5 with ease.

At best I've seen was a Sura doing FC mobbing. no idea how to achieve that, facing some difficulties with the damage output

Are you soloing? I’d put the card on a jdr, but it could be any weapon as MoT is not really required there. Alternatively, Physical doram is undeniably the most popular, mainly for three reasons: They don’t have any mob restrictions, they are very easy to play, and also the cheapest to gear. The only drawback that I find is the high consumption of slims. The loots always pay off, though.

If you want to stick with gx, yes, they are one of the best dps. But not without support. The mages can kill you instantly, and even if you somehow manage to dodge them, there is still a chance of you getting killed by something else while attempting to run. Things get really messy sometimes. Also, I lose precious time when being forced to avoid certain mobs. RC CRS is doable, but I suggest going with a small party if you want efficiency.

I can’t speak of all existing parties out there, but after setting up my parties in many different ways, I could say GX, Sorc, AB, Sura works wonders for me. Party wipes rarely occur and when it happens, it’s usually my fault for not killing Eremes quick enough. We don’t let the AB and Gene trigger MP. Our average is 20-25 blues per gum and ~35 during a drop event.

There will always be inconsistencies, from mobs spawning next to you with insta cast earthquake to not getting enough cursed fragments per gum(RNG). Only practice will help you being more consistent/efficient.
